The Presque Isle
Corvette Club is the oldest surviving car club in the Erie area and the
only Corvette Club remaining. It's very modest beginnings in 1970 saw
tremendous growth up into the 1980's. During the late 70's the Club
divided and Corvette Erie was formed. Corvette Erie disbanded in late
80's leaving the Presque Isle Corvette Club, Erie's oldest and first
Corvette Club to live on. The Presque Isle Corvette Club was formed to
provide planned trips, events and social activities for it's members. We
enjoy getting together for Cruises and attending Car Shows. In 2003 the PICC is planning a Corvette Celebration in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of the Corvette to be held July 6th at St. Nick's Grove. Details are still pending. To be a member or maintain membership in our Club, you must own a Corvette. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at Quaker Steak & Lube on Peach St & I-90 at 8:00 p.m. New members are always welcome. To obtain more information about the Presque Isle Corvette Club and membership please contact Annmarie Phillips at: apzz3vette@adelphia.net or call 814-838-6546. |
