In September of 1979 the Club
started as a dream of Donna Mae Mims and the late Ed Meyer. Local
advertising led to a gathering of a number of Corvette enthusiasts at
the former Spear Chevrolet. These fans of the Corvette wanted to unite and
form a Corvette Club. This was the beginning of our fun and exciting Three
Rivers Corvette Club (TRCC). Initially the membership consisted of 30
enthusiasts and has now grown ten fold to 300 strong. TRCC members, Sandie and Glen Paluso, are the Coordinators for Western PA and West Virginia for the 50th Anniversary Corvette Caravan to Bowling Green, KY for 2003. Anyone interested in participating in this Caravan should contact Sandie at spaluso@hotmail.com or by phone at 304-242-9489. Our Club plans various activities so there is sure to be something for every Corvette lover to enjoy. Besides our regular monthly meetings, TRCC also sponsors Cruises, Poker Runs, Oldies Dance, Picnics, Christmas Party, Fun Rallies, Games Nights, Membership Drives, Night at the Races, Kite Flying, Golf Outings, and Parades. The Club also participates with other local clubs in co-sponsoring events. TRCC was the proud host Club of the 2nd Annual WPCCC event held at Cedar Creek Park in 2001.
